Tandem Dies

Dies used for medium-sized parts, where several operation groups are mounted onto a single body and production can be carried out in a single press, are called Tandem Dies. In general, part transfer between operations is carried out manually or by robotic systems. This method is particularly ideal for parts that are too large to fit into a single progressive die.
